Today I’m excited to show you guys the 9 polishes being released by Celestial Cosmetics for March.
There are some real stunners and unique polishes in this bunch!
We have cremes, duochromes, flakies, holos and a jelly! A nice mixture I think!
MARCH L.E 2015 –
Nickis take on a March birthstone (bloodstone)
An olive green shimmer with sparkling red glitter specks throughout.
Here I’ve used two coats, which both applied beautifully.
The formula in this one is great, slightly thick but definitely in a good way.
VEGA SPARKS –
A lavender tinted shimmer base packed with gold and purple flecks.
I needed only two coats to achieve opacity.
Clean up with this one is a bit of a struggle I must admit (as most shimmer/glitter polishes are)
The golden shimmer and glitters just wanted to live on my cuticles forever. It took me a bit longer to clean up but I think the pay off is worth it.
GARNET STAR –
This is a really pretty polish. It shifts between a red to orange and has some gorgeous purple and blue micro glitter scattered throughout for something a bit different.
I have two coats shown in my swatch. I noticed the first coat did drag a little bit but the second coat glided on well.
A purple/green duochrome
Prodomanantly green looking on the first coat but as soon as I applied the second the beautiful purple colour shift was wonderfully obvious!
The green sparks really set this polish off!
Two coats plus topcoat.
WINGS OF NAVI
A blue jellly loaded with assorted glitters in shades of blue.
This one is quite sheer but I like that, it gives the glitter some nice depth.
Three coats plus topcoat.
I think this would look great with white undies to make the blue really pop!
A deep purple creme. This one will run a little bit if you overload your brush so make sure to swipe it on the side of the bottle well before applying.
Easily opaque in two coats.
This looks a bit blue in my photos but is actually a deep purple.
A vibrant bright yellow creme.
This polish does look quite sheer upon laying down the first coat, I found three coats gave me adaquate coverage though.
(Note: More tint has been added to the final product)
For all of these swatches I have used Celestial Cosmetics Light Year Top Coat.
This would have to be one of my favorite aussie indie topcoats! My usual go to topcoat is HK Girl, I decided to use the Light Year topcoat for these swatches though and give it a good run. I found it to have a wonderful dry time and finish. Not quite as thick as HK Girl but not too thin either. I would definitely recommend everyone give this topcoat a try!
All polishes will be available from Celestial Cosmetics on the 1st of March.
These polishes were sent for my honest review. Please refer to my disclosure for more information.
